The Freedom Scoop Plate with Suction Pad Base is deeper on one edge than the other to allow for easier scooping. The gradually rising edge of the Freedom Scoop Plate functions like an extra hand to push food over onto utensils. This is especially useful for people who need to eat with one hand, or who have tremor or coordination difficulties.
People with low vision have also benefited from the straight edges on this plate assisting them to successfully get the food onto their spoon or fork and prevent food falling off the edges of the plate.
Perfect for flat table tops, wheelchair trays and over-bed tables. No more suction cup feet that slide and loose their grip.
The highest edge of the scoop plate is 1.5 inches (4cm) high and the lower edge is ¾ inch (2cm). The inside diameter measures 7 inches (17.8cm) and the outer diameter is 9 inches (23cm).
The scoop plate and pad together weigh 13 oz. (370grams)
Top rack dishwasher safe. (only the plate top- the suction base can be removed and wiped with a damp cloth).
